Updates to PHC!
Changes to the Committee members
Chairperson/ Gremperor & Marketing Lead - Terra Berry

For those of you who know them, the Gremperor of PHC (Gremlin Emperor), Terra Berry, will be taking over duties as Chairperson and Marketing Lead.
Since joining Pink Hub Club (PHC) as a poster designer in May 2025, Terra has quickly grown into a key member of the team, becoming Secretary and Creative Lead in August 2025.
We’re now proud to introduce Terra as PHC’s new Chairperson, taking the lead on organising meetings, shaping strategy, representing the club, and modernising the ways our community gets involved with PHC. Alongside this role, Terra continues to build their creative career as Marketing Lead, overseeing PHC’s online presence and printed materials.
We’re excited to see Terra bring their creativity, leadership, and fresh ideas to this next chapter of Pink Hub Club, helping make PHC more accessible, engaging, and connected to its community!
Treasurer - Sarah Berry

It's a family business after all!
Sarah has been a keen supporter of Pink Hub Club since its beginnings, taking the time to understand and connect with her community. Working as an accountant, she’s excited to bring her financial expertise to PHC, helping support the group’s operations and contribute to its continued growth. We’re delighted to have Sarah’s skills and enthusiasm supporting our community!
Co-chairman - Mark O'grady

A natural people person, Mark will assist with networking across the community and building relationships with current local venues - you will often see him with his raffle tickets on Karoke Fridays.
Having previously chaired PHC, Mark brings valuable experience and insight to the team. The current Chairperson is delighted to have Mark’s support, guidance and mentorship as they step into their new role.
Differences between a PHC Event & a Community Event
A PHC Event is:
Visible on the official Pink Hub Club social media page
An event guaranteed to have at least one committee member in attendance. Please reach out to us if you are attending alone.
A ticket-based or free event.
A Community Event is:
A public event shared on PHC's community page by a member of the community or business
An event not guareenteed to be visited by a committee member
The 3 tier Volunteering system
Committee Member
Represent - Share your insights on people within your age group, gender identity and sexuality. This is to ensure events remain inclusive to the community.
Vote - As Committee member, you will have a voice on how PHC is run, bringing new ideas to the table throughout the year.
Be Present - Be active in the community, ensuring everyone has a friendly face to talk to. Understandably, not all events can be attended due to commitments or health conditions – Chairman will check in regularly to confirm availability and wellbeing status.
If there is a specific-role you had in mind that matches your skillset, the Chairman would love to hear it?
An External Service
Are you an IT wizard, consultant, have a printer? Volunteer your specialist skills and/or resources.
Separate from committee members, external service providers do not attend meetings and don’t need to commit to being active in the community - just let us know what periods of the year you are available for collaboration.
Community Volunteer
Someone that can help with the setup and running of fundraising events such as bake sales or beach cleans. Please note, at least one committee member will be present to brief volunteers. Please provide your contact details - Volunteer callouts will take place when events are confirmed.
PHC Karoke

The Pink Hub Club will continue to support Friday Karaoke at the Midland Hotel. Thursday Karaoke at Dragon Kiss is a new event, providing Friday-night workers with an opportunity to let their hair down, as well as offering a venue with a different atmosphere.
Keep an eye on our events page and social media for regular updates.
PHC Cafe visits
Introducing café visits as a way to gather people in a quieter environment, ideal for new members who want to make new friends or existing members who want to catch up with each other.
PHC hopes to make this a monthly Sunday event (subject to committee availability). We are currently reviewing cafe options, making sure we have at least one venue that is pet friendly and provides accessibility for wheelchair users. Once venues are confirmed, a survey will be shared to help us get an idea of when community members are available.
PHC Camping Trips

An exciting new opportunity, we are partnering with an external service, known as the QACs (Queer And Camp), to organise PHC camping trips throughout the year.
Please note:
Number of camping trips available throughout the year will be based upon availability of the external organisor.
This is not a free event. Individual costs, travel and site fees will need to be paid and arranged by attendees - information regarding site fees will be announced once events are confirmed.
There will be opportunities for sites to be pet friendly, and cater to tents and campervans. A survey will be sent out to determine how many people are interested in a camping trip, site preferences and availability - the final camping/caravan site will be determined by the voting system.
At least one committee member will be present to greet members on site.
Online Raffles & Donation links
We are looking into ways of providing opportunities for online raffles, which will allow the community to support PHC and win prizes during the colder months. Online raffles will be posted on our social media pages and announced online.
As we get closer to the new year, we are raising funds for a New Year’s party at the Midland Hotel. Please give what you can.: https://pay.sumup.com/b2c/Q5XQS06M
F&Qs
Why are there two facebook pages for PHC? The PHC Community page is an unofficial page for the community to share events they are interested in going to, and it's a space for PHC and the community to share videos and images from each event.
The official PHC page is a platform with listed PHC events and updates. Community members are able to comment and interact with our posts but are unable to post their own content on the page.
How do I volunteer with PHC? You can find us through our social media and give us a message.
Can I suggest an event? You certainly can! You can join as a committee member or external consultant if you want to help us organise events throughout the year. You can share existing events on the PHC Community page. PHC will occasionally run a survey asking the community what events they would like to see and if there are any venues they would like to try.
When are the camping trips?
With the weather getting colder, we estimate camping trips to commence in Spring 2027. Exact dates will be determined based on availability of the external organiser and committee members.
What makes it a PHC camping trip? A PHC camping trip is an opportunity to camp alongside fellow community members and spend time together at the campsite. At least one committee member will be present to welcome everyone and help foster an inclusive atmosphere.
A Committee member or PHC event attendee made me feel uncomfortable If a committee member or another PHC event attendee has made you feel uncomfortable, please send us a message via our social media. We will listen to your concerns, take them seriously, and do our best to help resolve the situation. We will handle your concerns sensitively and respect your privacy as much as possible.
Wait, I have more questions! Please give use a message on our PHC social media
