Hello everyone, and welcome to our Easter blog post!
With Pride well and truly in the works, this time of year has come around quickly. We’re so excited to see the calendar filling up with even more events and opportunities for our community to come together, celebrate, and connect. There’s a real sense of momentum building, and we can’t wait to share what’s ahead.

Easter is a story of resurrection, hope, and new beginnings—and for many in the LGBTQIA+ community, that message feels deeply personal.
While faith and identity haven’t always felt compatible, things are changing. More churches and religious spaces are becoming inclusive, offering acceptance where there was once exclusion. For many, that shift brings healing and a renewed connection to spirituality.
Easter now represents not just tradition, but transformation—of self, of community, and of faith itself. It’s a reminder that everyone deserves to belong, to be seen, and to be celebrated exactly as they are.
And that sense of renewal is something worth holding onto.
Pride Update 2026
The Pink Hub Club will be hosting events revolving around the Pride event such as the WSM Pride Showcase at Blakehay Theatre. More details will be released soon!
Pride has now been confirmed for 27th June at Grove Park. Please do give WSM Pride a follow for more updates on their Instagram or Facebook to stay up to date.
They are currently running a crowdfunding campaign. Every £5 minimum donation comes with a digital supporter badge.🌈 DM them your profile image + donation screenshot to claim yours!
